RE-introducing myself....

Haven't been here in quite some time.
Things have gotten better in our lives.. JimVideo might like to know we own one of the Habitat houses, the LDS one "House built upon the rock..."
Tristan survived his battle with cancer; he's 3 now and has one and a half legs......yes, we have humor about the whole thing. Search the term "rotationplasty" and you'll see what he is dealing with.
My oldest son just finished his 1st year of Shasta High School, honors classes all around and all A's and one B. He ran cross country, had a part in Madrigals, and auditioned for and GOT a principal role in Shasta's spring production of "Bye Bye Birdie."
I am still powering on with the emergency dispatch, even garnered a "Dispatcher of the Year" award from my peers...
Hubby is now an employee of Habitat for Humanity and all the great work they will continue doing in Redding.
Our garden is out of control...anyone need zucchini, yellow crookneck, or tomatoes??? Pumpkin mania is hitting, 24 gourds and counting!!!

In short, Life is Good!!

Re: RE-introducing myself....

Hi 911 MOM!!

Yes, I see it has been a while for your posts... Glad to hear all the good news
however!! Great to hear that Tristan has beat the game and is out there showing us he is a winner.  OF course trying to keep up with your cross country racer son... like WOW... A's and B's...  Sounds good.  Does he get out in the garden and do the weeding?  Yea, I know... what is a weed?  My small container garden seems to grow mostly questionable green things, but I am in hopes some of it is eatable.
Looking forward in hearing more from you, about you, and things you do around this wonderful Redding area.

Your friendly balloon artist... Rickiddie Rick.

Re: RE-introducing myself....

Great to see you back 911mom! That's awesome to hear you and your family are doing so well in the face of all the stuff that has happened over the past few years. What a little trooper that Tristan is.
