Neighbor Dispute in Utah
A city councilman in Utah, Mark Easton, had a beautiful
view of the east mountains, until a new neighbor purchased
the lot below his house and built a new home.
The new home was 18 inches higher than the ordinances
would allow, so Mark Easton, mad about his lost view, went
to the city to make sure they enforced the lower roof line
ordinance. The new neighbor had to drop the roof line,
at great expense.
Recently, Mark Easton called the city, and informed them
that his new neighbor had installed some vents on the side
of his home. Mark didn't like the look of these vents and
asked the city to investigate. When they went to Mark's
home to see the vent view, this is what they found........>

Ha ha! That's freaking hilarious. I only wish they had purchased them from me though. Looks like vinyl or aluminum.

UTAH?? ARRGGHHH! Taking away the Warriors dreams, I sure hope they feel good about that ...LOL! But I haven't heard the fat lady singing yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Man, if I'd known about that when the guy first took pictures, I would have paid him to watermark them with a "buy gable vents from thebuilderstore.com" or something. I'm sure that reached quite a few builders who had some hearty laughs.

Needed a good laugh! Hope the building inspector could not find anything wrong with it. 18 inches to tall... hmmm... Guess the councilman should have bought the lot and he would have kept the view as he wanted... Hmmm... hind sight, ah? Now he has a great view now anyway. HEE Hee Hoo Hoo Hooo....... Only in the eyes of the beholder, ah.
