Redding California

Hi Folks! 

Yes, I am wondering what is happening here too.  No2booze asked "What do I do Now?", I have asked about Turtle Bay, nothing was said about the Cool April Nights car show big event (no one went?), the Redding SoapBox dirby was a top issue a couple years ago but no one knows about it happening this year?   May 4th is a city food bank drive, but nothing is being said about it... we have world class convention center here and people from around the world come to visit just to see this special place in the world..   There is 873 members to this site and 6 people post about 80% of the posts.  They need some help.

Here is a great place to tell the world about this wonderful city and what it has to offer and it's people, and ..something is missing here.... no posts or unanswered posts telling others of this wonderful area .   Here is a place where the local people can come together and meet, tell about the great things that is happening here, tell about the history as well as the plans for the future, give encouraging words to new people, open the door to new friendships and expand old friendships, share the wonders of this wonderful area even as it grows, answer questions and give helpful advise of places to go and see and enjoy.  Hundreds of people from the north and south pass through our doors daily as one of the major entries to California.  This site should be a one of the spots where people want to come to to get  to know Redding people better.

Yea, What Is Happening in and around Redding?   Yes, I am looking for the GOOD THINGS!  We can find all the rubbish we want to hear by listening to the news, come on folks let's hear the good things, okey?
