Charter Cable Cablemodem is getting realy choppy for me.
I've been experiencing big problems with my cable Internet connection in the last two or three months. Currently the Net drops over 20 times a day, sometimes up to an hour. That is bad for communication; IRC, VoIP, email, Second Life, and more. It makes playing online games realy suck, expecaly if you are hosting a game.
I'm paying extra for Charter Cable, insted of the less expensive DSL, to have a better connection for gaming. However it isn't better if it goes out almost every hour.
What are other's experience with Charter Cable.

They're not admitting to it, but they are having major problems lately! In certain areas where the cable is buried, when it rains you connection drops. Jim, if your connection is that bad, you probably have an RF issue and you need to have Charter come out and check it out, that is unnacceptable! Most complaints have been sporadic, intermittent issues, not as bad your mentioning.
