Hello, Bon Jour, hola

okay that was above and beyond. New here, relatively new to Redding, moved here in March with my family. Why? Good question, long story, but here is the short version... Was living in Washington, in November of last year my grandfathers health started failing fast, shortly after thanksgiving the decision was made that we would move the family, (hubby, kids, cats etc) the 75 miles south into Oregon to live in my Grandfathers house and take care of him. Well, we left furniture, apt, most everthing but clothes in Washington and made the move on 12/01/05, promises were made by my mother, uhaul, storage unit, ect., no worries, Well when we got there my grandfather was in the Hospital, then they discharged him to a hospice/assisted living, seems my mother forgot to tell the doctors that around the clock care had arrived, and on 12/04/05, my grandfather passed away, then my mother tripped out and went on the goodwill spending spree blowing $5000 (her inheritance for some reason my grandfather passed out $5000 to all his kids?!) at every thrift shop she could find. When we asked about the uhaul, storage money ect, she was suddenly very forgetful, so go back to Washington you say?! That would have been a viable solution if our car hadn't died soon after grandpa did. So anyways by the end of february my mom got tired of house guests and said it was time for us to leave, so we took my husbands social security and came as far south as we could, our friend was willing to drive us here, to Redding, but couldn't be bothered to drive us the 75 miles back to WA.. Okay that was the medium version.

So here we are, hubbie's health is crap again, landlord decided that social security money wasn't good enough for her, we go to court the 13th to fight an eviction, I have had one job since I moved here, but then my health took a crap too, seems that heart surgery in '70 (I am 37, btw, was a "blue" baby and had heart surgery when I was 18 months old) wants to wear out or something, the old ticker wants to act like I am constantly running a marathon.

Anybody need a typist? Don't judge my skills by my post. I do possess good grammar, and know how to use a spell check. Went to college and everything. don't ask to see my certificate though, spent finals week with my husband at OHSU in Portland while they carved him up like a thanksgiving turkey, even left him open.

Okay now that I have alienated everyone with my whining, it is time for me to go to bed, have to go back into work search program at the smart center tommorow morning.

Nice to meet you,

Willow
