I have lived in Shasta County for what seems like forever, but I don't think I would be happy anywhere else. I started my own computer business and am having lots of fun working for myself. I think this forum wil be a lot of fun. I will be spending a lot of time in the computer help forums because I like helping people with their computer problems. Happy computing.

Well howdy, Ted, I see you found your way over to the forums. Nice to see you made it hear. Ken from Castle is also a regular forum member, I'm sure you guys have some stuff in common.

Actually, I know Ken. I've used his shop a couple of times. They are good people over there. I send work off to them every once in awhile.
I wish I would have known about this site a long time ago.
Thanks.

Hey all, welcome aboard mooreted, Ok, sorry but I can't put the name to the face, next time you had better come in and say Hi! Good to see the competition can get along, it's really too bad that the Computer people in this town are so competitive that they can't seem to be friendly to each other. There is enough work in town to share. Better to work with a local expert than an outsider Geek or Nerd eh? You will definitely see more hits to your website! Take care.

Oh and speaking of visiting my shop, TOAD!!! I have some little tiny sticky fingerprints everywhere that need to be cleaned!

Thanks ninershark,
I know, there are some who shall remain nameless that are so arrogant and annoying I refuse to recommend them any more.
Actually, I am a mobile tech and I have a lot of irons in the fire. My business it steadily getting better every year. I don't think of myself as being in cooperation with the local shops because I do purely on-site repair. I don't have a shop.
I think it is good for someone like me who is out in the feild all the time to have someplace they can send the jobs that are just going to have to be done in a shop. I really don't want to scatter someone's laptop all over their kitchen table, for instance.
Wow, I guess you hit a nerve. I'm about to start ranting. ![]()
Long story short: I don't think we all need to be so competative. Me, I'm just trying to help people, have fun, be my own boss and make enough to keep a roof over my head.
Anyway, I've been in a few times. I installed a PSU on your bench once. I tested Peter's (yes, the annoying one) power supply there and tried to put a CPU in but Dell did something to it so you couldn't, even though the specs matched. Ahh, let's see; I drive a big gold car and I have tatoos all over my arms... Sound familiar?
Anyway, I will drop in from time-to-time and say howdy. I get so busy I don't get to drop in on people very often.
As for clicks, I could use some. I have gone a little different direction than your site. I am adding affiliate shopping pages hoping to attract a little cash-flow as a shopping site. I have attempted to make mine totally different than the other local pages. It's a work in progress.
If I can also help get you some clicks - though it doesn't look like you need it - let me know.

Wow, that's really tough on the eyes. I think that's what my brain looks like though.

Reminds me of that game the incredible machine.
Actually every time I've wandered in, you looked busy and the workbenches have always had at least 3 different machines on them.
