Long time no see....as they say.
I have been busy as usual, to make a long story short, having a kid with cancer and a 2-parent working family is CRAZY busy. I'll have to spend a few hours going over all the posts I've missed over the last several months. Good thing, we got a computer at home now, so I won't be confined to 15 minute break rants!!!! I'll post a new pic of Tristan... ps
His chemo will be FINISHED the first week of May... what a long strange trip it's been.....
Love to all...anything exciting happen while I was gone????
Rachael

Good to see you back. So Tristan is on the up and up? Keep us updated!
The forum has been pretty quiet lately, I'm thinking it might be in part after I changed to a way minimal layout.
Oh, and I changed your avatar. not sure why the avatar posting isn't working.

Hi Rachael, glad to hear Tristan is doing good, you haven't missed much, I think everyone has been busy. I bought Castle Computer Systems, so I have been really busy and not so mischevious

Howdy ho, Neighbors.
A girl got into this forum and found me to ask me questions about my job... and to think I had "forgotton" about this place... ha ha ha. Yeah right.
Not much has changed on our end... however, Tristan has completed his chemo as of the first week of May, he is due for a "rotationplasty" on his affected leg sometime in July. Look it up, kinda complicated. Found Google to have the mostest, bestest info on it. Basically it'll leave him with the equivalent of a below-the-knee amputation...He's been casted since October 19th and the doc is afraid to take it off since cadaver bone is oh so delicate. Don't want a broken leg! So, in a nutshell, we opted for the surgery so he can resume a "normal" life and be out of the damn cast. He actually gets around really well in it, walking even. It's amazing, really! For updated pics, go to carepages.com or flickr.com, I am 911mom on flickr and for carepages its "TristanCassidy"
Talk to you all later....
ps. We are a Habitat for Humanity family!! Will be moving into the Henry ave. project as of August 1st. I have pics of the completed homes if anyone at all is interested! Definitely not "shoebox" minimal housing!
