"I think there ought to be zero tolerance of people breaking the law during an emergency such as this — whether it be looting, or price gouging at the gasoline pump, or taking advantage of charitable giving or insurance fraud," Bush said. "And I've made that clear to our attorney general. The citizens ought to be working together."
gouging = $3.00 a gallon
zero tolerance = starving and drinking your sock filtered piss to obey the law

$3.00 a gallon Toad? Damn, I paid 3.50 the other day. I asked the lady behind the counter when their last delivery was and she said "Oh last week",well I said how do you justify raising the price if you paid less for your current supply. She then showed me the reciept with a carefully placed thumb over normal gas and showed where they paid 3.00 for diesel, I had her remove her thumb and it show they paid 2.00 for regular and 2.25 for premium. OK, that's without taxes, not sure how that works since it seems we pay the taxes and they pretend they do, but that's a $1.25 profit a gallon, so much for gas stations only make a penny profit on a gallon of gas.
And furthermore anti-gouging law states that a store owner can only raise prices by 10% during time of disaster. And even furthermore, we don't get any gas here in Cali from the gulf area, so why the heck should it effect us?
