Writers and artists
I was wondering what sort of network is set up for writers and artists in Redding. There are the publications, but I don't know of any real way to get in contact with anybody else.
All the bad things in life only help you appreciate the good even more.

There is an active writing group that used to meet at the Redding community library. You can find some art information in local publications, like Enjoy Magazine. What kind of writing and art are you interested in?
