I just watched a show I recorded on cable TV then fast forwarded to the end to delete the show. I expected to fast forward over the next show, but the next was this screen:

Restrictions set by the broadcaster and/or originator of the content prohibit playback of the program on this computer.

Congress has consistently ruled in favor of people being able to record TV shows for private use, and ruled against companies that tried to restrict recording. Anybody else get a playback block?
